WHEN: Friday, September 25th from 7:00-Whenever.

WHERE: Lisa g Winebar
2337 North 7th St.
Phoenix, AZ 85006

DTFNAvatarSmallWHAT: Since it has cooled down and we can start enjoying drinks and food on one of the most chill patios in Phoenix, we are heading back to Lisa g Winebar. Lisa g has great drinks, awesome entrees, and is just overall an awesome place to hang out. They are pet-friendly, and who knows, we may even have a psychic stop by for a reading or two.

The world-famous Bowl of Balls (meatballs, of course) will be in full effect for those willing to give it a try.

Come celebrate the return of mild (?) weather with the #dtfn crew. RSVP on Facebook to let us know you’re coming.

WHEN: Friday, September 25th from 6:00p – 8:00p. Or later. We often close the store.

WHERE: Whole Foods
2955 W Ray Rd
Chandler, Arizona 85224

WHY: It’s the “final Friday” of the month. That means we return to Whole Foods in Chandler. Yes, it’s a grocery store. But you haven’t experienced the store like this. Eight or more kegs of craft-brewed beer. Dozens of wines-by-the-glass to choose from. And your food choices are… legion. It’s not your typical experience. Then again… neither are we.

Come find us in the Tapas bar. #evfn folks get discounted drinks and our own special menu. So be sure and leave a review of Whole Foods on Yelp or say nice things elsewhere. The more we pimp, the more we’ll get!

Looking to get a little more organization behind #WVFN coming up – ideas? leave comments – we’re taking a break this week. Looking to perhaps move to every other week anyway, for now.

On the Diamondbacks last home stand of the season, we’re teaming up with #lrfn and “NightRail” for the D-backs vs Rockie game. PFNers have special seats in the Diamond Club at our discounted rate of just $20. The Diamond Club is an upscale club located in right field on the main concourse level at Chase Field. No assigned seats, special lounge seating throughout the entire location, full service bar (cash bar), pool tables, and HD TVs make for a great night where we will have some of the best seats in the house. Plenty of standing / mingling room to hang out with AZ Hardball, The Social Latte, CenPho.tv, The Downtown Phoenix Journal and others. The game starts at 6:40pm. Details on purchasing tickets are here.

Cheers – and coming on strong for #WVFN real soon …

This Friday, there are three ways to get in on the fun of an #evfn. Now this is going to get confusing so pay attention.

WHEN: Friday, September 18th from 6:00p until gods only knows when.

WHERE: Three different places, depending on where you want to go and what you want to do.

WHY: Officially, we’re teaming up with #lrfn and “NightRail” for the D-backs vs Rockie game. We’ve got special seats in the Diamond Club at our discounted rate of just $20.00. The Diamond Club is an upscale club located in right field on the main concourse level at Chase Field. No assigned seats, special lounge seating throughout the entire location, full service bar (cash bar), pool tables, and HD TV’s make for a great night where we will have some of the best seats in the house. Plenty of standing / mingling room to hang out with AZ Hardball, The Social Latte, CenPho.tv, The Downtown Phoenix Journal and others. The game starts at 6:40pm. Details on purchasing tickets are here.

As an alternate for those who a) don’t want to watch baseball and b) don’t want to drive downtown, we’re doing an alt#evfn at Buffalo Wings & Rings in Chandler. This is *not* the national chain that advertises on TV. This is a local establishment with great food and an outstanding beer selection. I picked it, remember? I expect a smaller crowd since the majority are peeling off to go to the game. And that is very cool. We’ll do alt#evfn at the normal 6:00 – 8:00 slot that you’ve come to know and love. RSVP on Upcoming or Yelp if you like.

And because two events in one night for #evfn aren’t enough, how about throwing a little Rocky Horror Picture Show into the mix? Don’t worry, it’s not at midnight. The short story is that it’s happening at the Madcap Theater in Tempe. Showtime starts at 10:30. But there’s a hell of a lot more going on than that. Like another show before, some drag shows and the general debauchery you’ve come to expect from R.H.P.S. It’s been at least a decade since I’ve done Rocky with a group in a theater. I’m stoked! I’m calling this #evfndrag, and you can find more details here.

Some folks calls it a tweetup. I calls it an #evfn. Remember the agenda: no agenda. Have fun. Meet people. Party on!
