WHY: It’s the “final Friday” of the month. That means we return to Whole Foods in Chandler. Yes, it’s a grocery store. But you haven’t experienced the store like this. Eight or more kegs of craft-brewed beer. Dozens of wines-by-the-glass to choose from. And your food choices are… legion. It’s not your typical experience. Then again… neither are we.

Come find us in the Tapas bar. #evfn folks get discounted drinks and our own special menu. So be sure and leave a review of Whole Foods here on Yelp. The more we pimp, the more we’ll get!

WHY: I know we’re very late on this one. We had it all planned out for a place… that went out of business on us this week. So I aked Rob & crew real nicely, and they offered up Sleepy Dog to us once again. They rock and are perfect for this kind of event.We’re also doubling up with the pre-ScottsdaleCamp people, many of whom are already #evfn regulars.

Sleepy Dog is great for many reasons. First: the beer is top notch. Plenty of their own brews and a good selection of guest beers. Second is the food: As in, you can order food delivered from lots of great places nearby. Yes, that sounds strange. No, you won’t be disappointed. They have no kitchen, but everyone orders in food. Just tell the place you want to eat that you’re at Sleepy Dog, and they’ll be right there.

WHY: Ah… back at BWR. Love this place. I say they have the best and widest selection of craft brews in the East Valley, and you should believe me. They also have buffalo chicken nachos, which I had for the first time last weekend. Amazingly good. You must get them And share.

But loads of other great stuff, too. And Karaoke begins at 9:00 for those who want to stay late. Always a good time!

Yep, it’s been a year. Seems everyone’s always looking for good Thai food and this place ( http://touchofthai.info ) promises to deliver. Vegetarian dishes, too. Hope to bring some North Valley peeps a couple of steps over to enjoy the fun, as well.

Who knows what’ll happen after the food …

What: Let’s escape the bonds of the First Friday crowds on North Central ave, just steps from the Central/C-Back station. Maizie’s has good food, drinks, a greagt patio, and once the crazies leave downtown, we can have it back.
