Yep, It’s another First Friday, but let’s steer clear of the crazed crowds and head a little North to My Florist, to listen to some great music and have some yummy sandwiches. Of course, once we have a drink or 2, we are almost obligated to head over to Sidebar to finish out the night.

It’s time to test out what many claim to be the best tacos in town. Let’s hang out with some beers and have a good time, while chomping down on a Vampiro or two.

It’s time for les Jeux olympiques d’hiver, and the opening ceremonies are this Friday. What better place to catch the pomp and circumstance than our beloved George and Dragon Pub, located right next to the Indian School light rail stop. The ceremonies start at 8, but we’ll get the party started early.

Something old, something new, sounds like a great formula for a kickass #dtfn. We’re gonna start at the old style soda shop MacAlpines for some snacks and desserts. Then we’re gonna head over to the brand new Main Ingredient Ale House to enjoy some of Matt Diamond’s new specialties–it is in the spot formerly known as Lisa G.

So, it is the first time we’ve had #dtfn at a gay bar. Go figure. It just so happens that the best Friday karaoke in Central Phoenix is at Apollo’s, so that’s where we’re heading. Sure, it is a little later than usual, but it is going to be a great time. Oh, and it is Samantha’s (@tambre) birthday. We hear she loves karaoke.

Yes, folks, that’s right. Lola Coffee is now downtown. To celebrate, the #dtfn crew is meeting at Lola this Friday night. Lola is in the old Calabria deli space, on the NE corner of 3rd Ave and Roosevelt, next to the future Pita Jungle.
Relax, grab a coffee, then join us as we admire the art, the conversation, and inevitably work our way to the bars.
