After waiting way too long to call the location this week, my friend Cj stepped up to the plate and offered up something new. We’re going to Roka Akor. According to their website: ‘Awarded “Top 10 Sushi Spots” in the United States by Bon Appetit, Roka Akor is Scottsdale’s Sushi Restaurant and Japanese Robata Grill. The adjacent Shochu Lounge features shochu infusions and signature cocktails in contemporary yet relaxed surroundings.”.

Happy Hour ends at 6:00, but they will seat us in the Shochu Lounge and extend happy hour for us throught 8:00. How cool is that? That’s beer and wine specials plus appetizer discounts. Oh, and sushi!
